The New Sands Macau resort is set to house several major hotel brands within its massive complex. The Sands China Ltd development company, which is a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands, has just announced that its multibillion dollar development will house international luxury hotel brands including Hilton and Intercontinental following its opening next year.
The resort is located on the glittering Cotai strip in Macau, right next to the Venetian resort which is also owned by Sands China Ltd. The Cotai Central will be much larger with over 6,000 hotel rooms from both the Holiday Inn, Sheraton and Conrad brands. The resort is set to open next spring, and it is considered by many to be the crowning glory of the unprecedented Macau metamorphosis into an international gambling center and vacation hotspot.
