Macau will soon house the biggest holiday inn in the world and it comes as no wonder since Macau has been announced as the wealthiest gambling city surpassing even the Las Vegas Strip. The inn will be run by Sands China under the franchisee of InterContinental Hotels Group.
The inn in Macau will offer 1,224 rooms and will be the largest holiday inn. The Holiday Inn Macau Cotai Strip will be located in the popular Cotai Strip and is a part of Sands China's integrated resort.
The Inn in Macau will offer a full IR of 6,000 rooms to the area after its opening in early 2012. It will also offer various gaming, dining, retail, and entertainment and meeting facilities. Macau is predicted to grow as a tourist location and the growth will be linked to the fast growth of the Chinese people. Macau was the fourth most popular destination in 2010 and major tourists are from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
